Mission
Our mission is to provide high-quality education that combines the arts and sciences, fostering curiosity, creativity, and analytical thinking. We are committed to supporting students through excellent teaching, a stimulating learning environment, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Departments and Programs
The Faculty of Arts and Sciences offers four programs that lead to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Biomedical Instrumentation, Telecommunications and Informatics in addition to Mechanics and Energy. Those are three-year programs that are fully recognized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. They are structured over 6 regular semesters and include professional industrial placements as well as many practical hands-on components.
Additionally, the Faculty provides academic support to other Faculties across the University in the areas of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Humanities, Languages, etc.
Laboratory Facilities
Our labs are equipped to reflect the state-of-the-art of our disciplines and to give our students the opportunity to experience working in a laboratory environment. In addition to their use in supporting classroom learning and validating theories, they are available to be used in projects, simulations and in investigating specific physical phenomena.
