Mission

The Biomedical Instrumentation department aims to prepare qualified professionals capable of installing, maintaining, testing, and managing medical devices used in hospitals, laboratories, and healthcare centers.

Program Overview

This is a three-year program comprising 180 ECTS and delivered over 6 regular semesters. It seeks to develop technical competencies in biomedical electronics, medical sensors, physiological signal acquisition, hospital maintenance, and medical safety standards. It also prepares students to keep pace with the rapid evolution of medical technologies and to meet the growing needs of the healthcare sector.

Program Learning Outcomes

Graduates of the Biomedical Instrumentation program will eventually be able to:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of biomedical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate medical devices.
• Manage medical sensors and biological data acquisition systems.
• Ensure the safety, reliability, and compliance of hospital equipment.
