To be a leading center for mechanical engineering education, innovation and research through which the Department contributes to the continuous development of the profession and to the overall vision of the University.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering seeks to empower its students with high quality, modern and well-rounded education, and to constantly advance mechanical engineering knowledge through active, inclusive and multi-disciplinary research and scholarship that is relevant to Lebanon and aligned with the mission of the University.
The Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (BME) program at the Lebanese French University seeks to prepare engineers who are proficient in cognitive theories, whether scientific, mathematical, or humanistic, and who possess the applied, practical, digital, and personal skills necessary to practice mechanical engineering locally and internationally.
The program includes five major electives. When chosen within a specific track, students may receive a concentration in that sub-specialty.
